Un emploi du temps professionnel particulièrement chargé limite mes incursions dans la blogosphère. Les machines à coudre sont remisées, et les points comptés de mes ouvrages se comptent justement sur les doigts de la main...  Je l'ai commencé très vite, mais ai mis très longtemps à le terminer : voici Sew Sweet, un modèle de CarolR mis sur le marché fin mai... J'aimais beaucoup la version originale couleur "pois de senteur", mais comme je venais d'acheter un assortiment gourmand de soies 1003 (Au Ver à Soie), j'en ai profité pour les tester.

A rather crowded professional schedule keeps me away from the blogosphere. My sewing machines have not seen the light of day for over a couple of weeks, and my cross stitch projects are not making much progress... I started Sew Sweet - a CarolR pattern - very quickly after it was put on market at the end of May, but finished it slowly... I rather liked the "Sweet Pea" original version, however as I had just bought an appetizing assortment of AVAS  silk threads "soie 1003", I couldn't resist trying them. 

Comme j'ai décidé de terminer avant l'hiver le très grand abécédaire Quaker Virtues (ByGone Stitches), je le promène partout avec moi dans mon joli sac So Cute © (Atelier de Valentine) et croyez-moi sur parole, un point par-ci, un point par-là, j'ai réussi à broder la moitié des médaillons. As I have decided that the very large Quaker Virtues sampler by ByGone Stitches should be finished before winter, I carry it everywhere with me in my So Cute © bag (Atelier de Valentine) and it works, by putting in a couple of stitches here and there, I have managed to complete half the medallions. There will be a picture soon.

Il m'arrive de passer en vitesse sur les blogs amis, j'y vois toujours autant de jolies choses, qui me font rêver, qui me donnent des idées - mais quand les concrétiser ? Un bravo collectif ici, à défaut de laisser des messages personnalisés.

In between engagements, I manage to fit in fleeting visites to my friends' blogs, and admire projects that are as pretty as ever,  they are a great source of inspiration - if only I had the time. Collective congratulations, hope they make it up for the absence of personnalized comments.
