Dans l'un de mes (trop) nombreux paniers (et sacs) à ouvrages, un modèle de Carriage House Samplings, "Matters's Choice", qui attend son improbable transformation en coussin. Brodé en février, sous l'influence encore récente de Noël et du rouge en touches dominante dans ma décoration d'intérieur.  Mais avec le printemps qui arrive, je voudrais maintenant y susbstituer du bleu:  bougies, verres colorés, coussins, cadres, jetés de canapés... - et Matter's Choice ne connaîtra sans doute son heure de gloire que bien plus tard!

Lying in one of my (too) numerous baskets (and bags) in which my WIPs are kept, a project based on Carriage House Samplings model "Matter's Choice", patiently waiting to be turned into a small armchair cushion. Stitched back in February, when my home was still under the Christmas and wintertime influence, hence with splashes of red here and there. Now, with spring and mild weather settling in, I feel like blue : candle, coloured glass, cushions, hanging frames, spreads... - and Matter's Choice will probably not be in favour before a long time has elapsed!
