Un avant-goût de la période des fêtes, avec cet abécédaire de Birds Of A Feather, que j'avais repéré il y a quelque temps sur le site de Theresa Venette,  www.shakespearespeddler.com. Il s'intitule "Red Reindeer Sampler", et c'est vrai que les touches de rouge "Terra Cotta" de Weeks Dye Works lui confèrent beaucoup de charme et de relief. Je l'ai brodé sur la toile Vintage Country Mocha de Zweigart que nous aimons toutes. Il me reste à l'encadrer, mais 30cm*30cm, ça devrait être facile : il faut juste trouver le temps d'aller jusqu'au magasin ! La photo a été prise par le premier matin au goût d'hiver samedi dernier. 0°C dehors,tout de même. Un vrai temps de renne.

A foretaste of the Christmas season, with the "Red Reindeer Sampler" by Birds Of A Feather, which I had spotted on Theresa Venette's merchant site  www.shakespearespeddler.com a little while ago. The Weeks Dye Works "Terra Cotta" red worked wonders on the much favoured Zweigart Vintage Country Mocha linen. I yet have to frame it, the dimensions are easy, finding the time to go shopping  is another story ! The picture was captured on the first winter-like morning last Saturday.  It was freezing to death outside. Fine weather for reindeers, though.
